Supported Employment is used in conjunction with Supported Community Connections to provide a full week of programming for clients receiving services through Belk Model. Clients employed by Belk Model receive one on one job coaching and support to ensure they are getting individualized support tailored to assist them in building new work skills!
The number of hours each client chooses to work is unique to them and based entirely on their interest and tolerance for work. Please note that to access Supported Employment, a client must first apply for services through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR.) This process can be facilitated by your program director at Belk Model.
